Booking Form Privacy Policy – Vi Charter

This privacy policy sets out the principles for processing personal data submitted through the booking form on the Vi Charter website available at https://rentaboat.club (hereinafter: the “Website”).

2. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

The personal data (name, email address, phone number, message) are processed solely for the following purposes:

  • handling inquiries and cruise bookings,

  • responding to contact requests,

  • sending booking confirmations or commercial offers.

The legal basis for data processing is the user’s consent given by submitting the form, as well as the legitimate interests of the data controller (Article 6(1)(a) and (f) of the GDPR).

3. Data Recipients

Data may be shared only with entities supporting the controller in handling bookings, such as payment providers or IT service companies — solely on the basis of appropriate data processing agreements.

4. Data Retention Period

Data will be stored for the time necessary to process the booking and any related settlements, and thereafter for the period required by applicable law (e.g., accounting or tax regulations).

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Vi Yachts service to see if you are using it. Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
